Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky shocked Bravo fans when they announced their split last summer. However, the couple continued to assure fans that they were not headed for divorce despite their differences.
Earlier this year Kyle told ET why she does’t think divorce is necessary for her and Mau.
She said, “[Divorce] would be when we can no longer do what we’re doing right now.”
Kyle noted that they were working through things as “open and honest” as they could be.
The Bravo star explained that she and her estranged husband were never a “toxic couple” so they are able to navigate their separation without going through all of the legalities with a divorce.
“I’m working through things myself, and I’m going through something, and I want to be able to be as open as I possibly can, and I will be – when I figure it all out,” she said.
Kyle told the outlet, “It’s gonna go one way or the other, you know? We’re either going to wake up and be like, ‘Oh my gosh! We could actually fix this,’ or it’s going to be divorce. I mean, I just don’t know how sustainable living under same roof as friends and as a family can last. I don’t know how that can last.”
Kyle and Mau are proving time and time again that they are able to get along despite being separated. Kyle may be right about not needing to divorce.
The ex-couple recently got together for a night out with their four daughters in Los Olivos, California, Bravo TV reported.
